Boulder encompasses a nice array of microbrews for the tasting. RedFish, Mountain Sun, Boulder Brewery, and Avery to name a few.  If you can't find it bottled at Liquormart (the mega libation store) you can grab a gallon for take out!  Mountain Sun definately wins the sampling award with its guest beers from around the country, offered only during February Stout Month.

Mexican restaurant with wickedly strong margaritas (Limit three per customer per visit). you will need the alcohol to eat the food though. Stick to the Margaritas.

Good food, good beer. Try the Buffalo Gold Ale.

A Boulder institution. The ceiling is barely over 6 feet high. But great college atmosphere and pizza.

In the basement of century-old Hotel Boulderado. Low ceilings and plenty of nooks and crannies to have a drink with friends, play pool or darts.

Good beer, lots of hippies.
