MapBuzz Announces Election 2008 Campaign Maps

Denver, CO. March 2, 2008

MapBuzz, Inc., the social mapping site, announced today the availability of online, daily campaign maps which show each candidates daily events. Anyone can track candidates as they campaign at an ever increasing pace, add additional locations and even post their own comments.

"I thought it would be cool to see where candidates will be on any given day so I created a community on MapBuzz," said Randy Atkinson, a Metro State college student. "I welcome comments from anyone, no matter their party affiliation, that attends these events.. I'd much rather hear news from the locals than reading about it in the national news or from the bigger blogs. Did the stop affect local perception?"

Charlie Savage, founder and president of MapBuzz. "Maps provide a great insight into the different strategies each campaign is using in key battleground states during the primary season. You can see what groups and communities they are targeting as they try to win over voters by election day."

MapBuzz offers a free online service that makes it easy for users to share information about place with friends, family and like minded communities. MapBuzz anticipates significant growth not only of www.mapbuzz.com, but of collaborative online social mapping as MapBuzz creates easier, more rewarding ways for users to create, share and search geographical locales. Currently www.mapbuzz.com offers a number of online communities throughout Colorado and in Washington, D.C.
