HA100 - North Route
70miles / 10k' ... yee ha!!
Head to 505 out of ElDora Town, to the top, find a single track to carry you to the top of Hicks. Catch Caribou Rd at the bottom and go get Sherwood Creek the sweetest foot per foot section around. Highway and Caribou Ranch overlook to the top, drop back off the highway into Como Creek which goes to Rainbow Lakes Rd, and head up past the CU research station until you connect with Sour Dough Trail. Eventually get Little Raven ski trail to Brainard Lake and head over to St. Vrain trailhead. Catch Sourdough South all the way back to Rainbow Lakes Rd trailhead. Go 1/8 mile North on the highway and drop East to Four Mile Creek (a few double tracks -Rights-) all the way until the climb back up to Gold Hill Rd, and East to Switzerland Trail, and Todd Gulch to Sunset. Do the eight miles, past Sugar Loaf, and grab fist moto track to the left. A couple of left forks to the nice single track but hang right, forest servcie road left, to Straight Six ... ... mmmm mmmm sweet! and fast! all the way through Primos/Gordon Gulch to Switzerland Rd. Switzerland Park up through Big Burn to Ridge Rd. Take that to the T (Cold Springs) and find the single track behind the mailboxes ... all the way to Sherwood Rd, and the secret Hurricane Hill north route. Fun down until you find the Bus Depot Rd and head back to Ned .. ... i'm dead ... ... BUT DONE!
